POPP JOHN LOUIS of Finleyville, age 85, born on March 26, 1915, in Hazelwood, died June 5, 2000 at Washington Hospital, son of the late John George Popp and Mary Theresa Toth Popp Martin. He was a conductor and brakeman for Pennsylvania Railroad, Shire Oaks. He was a member of St. Isaak Jogues R.C. Church and the Sportsman Club in Elrama. Survivors are his spouse, Rose P. Branch Popp of Union Twp., two sons, John G. Popp of Cleveland, OH and Mark A. Popp, of Wilmington, DE, stationed at the U.S. Navy Base, Philadelphia; two daughters, Theresa Jane Lewis of Glendale, AZ and Georgia Leia Reihner of Ely, NV; three brothers, James Popp of Floreffe, Ernest Popp of Donora and Robert Popp of Jefferson Boro; two sisters, Grace Simian of Heidelberg and Marlene Petrovich of Elrama; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; predeceased by one son, James Arnold Popp; one brother, Frank Popp and one sister, Marie S.
